Available for Windows, DOS, and Linux, ZSNES is an open source Super Nintendo emulator for x86 computers. ZSNES supports mode 7, sound, and Super FX, and is comparable to other SNES emulators. Additional features include: Support for save states, including rewinding; extensive movie recording and dumping features; multiple emulation speed options, including automatic frame skipping to compensate for slower machines; full cheat code support (including Game Genie, Pro Action Replay, and GoldFinger); and automatic IPS soft-patching (including up to 11 sequential patches).
