Pricing and Licensing
A Build User license is required for each user of Virtual Application Studio:

An End User license is required for each user of a virtualized application. For software developers, an Application Distribution License enables distribution to an unlimited number of end users:

Application Distribution Licenses: If you are distributing applications developed by your organization, we recommend purchasing an appropriate Application Distribution License. This enables distribution to an unlimited number of End Users. The Application Distribution License is free for organizations with under $1,000,000 in annual revenue and for open source projects. You must still purchase an appropriate number of Build User licenses.
Open Source Projects: Build User and Application Distribution licenses are free for open source applications. Please contact sales@spoon.net to receive your free license.
Annual Maintenance
The annual maintenance fee is 20% of the initial license cost per year when purchased within an active maintenance period. Maintenance includes access to all product upgrades and patches, technical support services, and web-based services. The first year of maintenance is required with all initial license purchases.
Maintenance Recovery: Maintenance purchased outside of an active maintenance period is recovered at 40% of the associated initial license cost.
Incremental Licenses: All licenses associated with a single customer account must be on the same maintenance cycle. If you add additional Build User or End User licenses to your account, maintenance on existing licenses will be prorated to the date of the latest purchase and the maintenance cycle will reset.
Educational Pricing
Spoon licenses are offered at a 50% discount to qualified K-12/primary school, college, and university educational institutions. Please contact sales@spoon.net or call us at 877-223-3551 (+1-206-774-8769 international) to make a purchase for an educational institution.
Payment Methods
You can purchase licenses and maintenance online using all major credit cards.
We also accept purchase orders, checks, PayPal, and wire transfer. Additional fees may apply to these payment methods. Please contact us for assistance with these alternate payment methods.
