Application Engineer

We are seeking Application Engineers to join our team in the Seattle area. Both full- and part-time positions are available. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for technology. A background in computer science is preferable.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and debug virtual applications for use on the Spoon platform.
  • Work directly with engineering team and technical account managers to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in the QA process for new product releases to ensure product quality and zero bugs.
  • Maintain accurate account records, activity logs, and bug information in the CRM and support databases.

Qualifications:

  • Strong information technology and problem-solving skills. In particular, you must be able to thoroughly understand Spoon products, tools, and technologies and to build, test, and diagnose virtualization issues with a wide range of application software.
  • Some knowledge of programming and/or systems administration strongly preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. This position involves significant interaction with account managers and software engineers.
  • Ability to use a computer during most work hours.

Business Development Manager

Spoon, a leading developer of virtualization and cloud computing technologies, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in the Seattle area. Full-time positions only are available.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and close business development opportunities
  • Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate partner and channel programs
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with potential partners and enterprise decision-makers
  • Author whitepapers, case studies, best practice documents, and other relevant collateral

Qualifications:

  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. This position involves significant interaction with highly sophisticated customers (developers, VP-level engineering, CTO/CIOs, and similar).
  • Extremely strong background in information technology required. In particular, you must have sufficient technical ability to thoroughly understand our products and assist customers with technical implementation.
  • Programming experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from accredited 4-year institution required. Graduate degree or MBA preferred.
  • Two years of relevant professional experience required

Product Marketing Manager

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop effective marketing copy, web content, sales collateral, case studies, press releases, and other key communications materials
  • Develop and manage marketing and public relations campaigns, trade show operations, social media presence, mailings, and other communications and technology evangelism efforts

Qualifications:

Technical Account Manager
