The same technology that powers Spoon.net is now available to your organization.

Enterprises can provide employees, partners, and vendors with access to the apps they need – instantly, reliably, anywhere – via the web, portals, or directly to desktops.

Software publishers can dramatically boost conversion rates, reduce support costs, and enable new SaaS business models.

Key Benefits

Run Anywhere, Anytime
Zero-touch, web-based virtualization and streaming provides a single point of access to your entire app portfolio – across the hall or across the globe.
Run 5-20x faster than traditional download
Spoon streaming technology eliminates long downloads and works over standard HTTP, web servers, CDNs, and desktop management infrastructure.
Break the Download and Install Barriers
Spoon eliminates long downloads, installs, and the other friction points that stand between your apps and your users.
Run Without .NET, Java, or Adobe AIR
Integrated app virtualization eliminates runtime dependencies, including the .NET Framework, Java, DirectX client libraries, and C runtimes.
Publish to existing web sites, portals, and desktops
Embed streamed apps into existing web sites with a single line of HTML. Or deploy with the built-in portal or third-party portals such as Microsoft SharePoint®.
Zero installs, Zero Hassles, Zero Conflicts
App virtualization completely eliminates setups, and conflicts. Run multiple versions of apps such as Internet Exploer and Microsoft Office side-by-side.
Be Ready for Windows 7 (even if your apps aren't)
Spoon runs legacy apps seamlessly on new operating systems such as Windows Vista and Windows 7, even on locked-down desktops.
The world's best apps are on Spoon
Hundreds of popular apps are available ready-to-use on Spoon.net.  Or quickly virtualize your existing apps with Spoon Studio.

Spoon Server Requirements

Spoon Server currently supports the following server platforms:

  • Microsoft Windows® 7 Server
  • Microsoft Windows Server® 2008
  • Microsoft Windows® Vista
  • Microsoft Windows Server® 2003

On the client side, Spoon supports all of the above server platforms, plus:

  • Microsoft Windows® 7
  • Microsoft Windows® XP
  • Microsoft Windows® Vista

Spoon supports applications built for both the x86 and x64 processor architectures, and both 32- and 64-bit versions of the supported operating systems.

Spoon Server requires adequate bandwidth to service the expected number of concurrent user streams (approximately the size of the virtual application package multiplied by the number of expected concurrent streams).  No significant bandwidth is utilized once the virtual application package has been completely transferred.

Spoon recommends an effective transfer rate of at least 1.5Mbps.
