What is the Spoon plugin?
The Spoon plugin is an extension to your browser that lets you run apps from the
Spoon web site and other Spoon Servers. You need to have the Spoon plugin
to run Spoon apps.
How do I install the Spoon plugin?
To install the Spoon plugin, press the "Install Spoon Plugin" button that
appears either at the top of the Spoon web page or top right of the Spoon app panel.
Your browser will ask you to Run or Save the executable. If the Run option
is available, press Run; otherwise, Save the executable to your computer and then
double-click it to launch the Spoon plugin installer. The installation takes
just a few seconds.
After the plugin setup is complete, refresh the web page and enjoy your app!
How do I uninstall the Spoon plugin?
To remove the Spoon plugin, go to the Control Panel, select "Add/Remove Programs"
or "Uninstall a program", and then select "Spoon Sandbox Manager".
Can I use Spoon on my Mac?
Not yet! But we hope to bring Spoon to other platforms soon -- stay tuned!
Note you can run Spoon on Mac using a Windows emulation product such as Parallels
or VMware Fusion.

Information for developers is available at spoon.net/studio.
Apps are packaged for Spoon using Spoon Studio.
To submit your app to Spoon.net or to request an app, visit the Spoon
app submission page at spoon.net/submit.
What platforms and architectures are supported by Spoon?
Spoon supports the following platforms:
- Windows XP (all editions)
- Windows Embedded XP
- Windows 2000 (all editions)
- Windows Server 2003 (all editions)
- Windows Vista (all editions)
- Windows Server 2008 (all editions)
- Windows 7 (all editions)
Spoon supports both the x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) processor architectures.
What browsers are supported by Spoon?
Spoon currently supports Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8, Firefox 3 and 3.5, Safari
2, 3, and 4, Opera 9 and 10, and Chrome on the Windows platform.
Can I host Spoon apps on my own web site?
Yes. Please contact sales@spoon.net to learn more about Spoon Server and to
request information on hosting or syndicating Spoon feeds on your web site.
